About Tyler
Hi, TBE! I am Tyler McMahon. I have been playing golf since I was about 3 years old and love traveling and meeting new friends from around the world in different tournaments including the US Kids World Championships. Playing golf relaxes me, helps me to focus, and makes me happy. I also enjoy basketball, soccer, tennis, football, and snowboarding.

I am the youngest in my family, which includes my sister Rory who is 2 years older than me and my parents Austin and Dana. We also have a 4 year-old dog named Gryffin. I call him my little brother!

I go to Brown Middle School in Newton and my favorite class is PE because it gets my energy out and it’s sports.

Becoming a bar mitzvah has been a lot of work and makes me proud. It’s the same work that my mom, grandparents, great-grandparents, and their parents all did and I get to continue that tradition. For my volunteer project, I am helping to collect and drop off donations to MSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center. I am also having a compostable kiddush luncheon to help raise awareness about what we can do to help the environment.
